Σε δύο κλινικές δοκιμές το Evrysdi βελτίωσε την κινητικότητα σε άτομα που ζουν με SMA σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα ηλικιών και σε διάφορα επίπεδα σοβαρότητας της ασθένειας, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των τύπων 1, 2 και 3.

Το Evrysdi βοήθησε νεογνά να επιβιώσουν χωρίς μόνιμη αναπνευστική υποστήριξη και να επιτύχουν να κάθονται χωρίς υποστήριξη, ένα σημαντικό κινητικό ορόσημο, που δεν συναντάται στη φυσική πορεία της ασθένειας.

Το Evrysdi είναι το πρώτο και μοναδικό φάρμακο για την SMA που μπορεί να χορηγηθεί στο σπίτι.
