Energy Bites – Recipe

Ingredients (about 15 small bites or 5 bars)

10 medjool dates

(if they’re not very soft, soak them into water for about 3 hours, if they are soft you may put them in the recipe as they are, the fresher the better!)

Alternatively, you may use dried fruits without sugar, like:

– prunes

– dried apricot

– cranberries

20 Unsalted nuts (almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts or any other nut you prefer, always unsalted)

Unsweetened flaked coconut or unsweetened cocoa powder for rolling the bites if desired



Combine the ingredients in a multi food processor (caution, if the mixture is not soft enough to make bites, pour 1-2 tablespoons water)

After grinding all our ingredients, we shape small balls or bars and we want we roll them into coconut flakes or cocoa powder.

Stored in the refrigerator.
